  2. Use the presence and distribution of gas to detect and characterise pathology
  3. Recognise common pathological processes that result in an abnormal gas pattern on abdominal radiographs
  4. Recognise common pathological processes that result in abnormal soft tissue appearances on abdominal radiographs
