  4. Be able also to use patient encounters to promote smoking cessation
  5. Be able to discuss social and/or preventive aspects of care including health education and promotion
  6. You should also be better equipped to:
  7. Advise all smokers to quit
  8. Know what services are available for people who want to stop smoking
  9. Know when medication may help people who want to stop smoking
